Profile of Attorney Gary Slobin

Attorney Gary Slobin, a partner at AlpertAttorney Gary Slobin, Slobin and Rubenstein, graduated cum laude from Long Island University ( C.W. Post Campus ), in 1993, with a degree in accounting. He was repeatedly named to the Dean’s List and received numerous academic performance awards . He obtained his Juris Doctor from the Brooklyn Law School in 1996.

Mr. Slobin has been a partner at Alpert, Slobin and Rubenstein since December, 2010. Before the formation of Alpert, Slobin and Rubenstein, he was a partner in Alpert & Kaufman

In his professional legal career, he has had extensive experience in successfully representing plaintiffs in personal injury and medical malpractice matters. He is personally involved in all stages of litigation, from the initial meeting with a potential client, through verdicts and appeals He personally evaluates all potential personal injury claims, working directly with clients and witnesses to develop and implement winning litigation strategies.

Gary Slobin has a had long and successful track record of attaining substantial recoveries for his clients through Jury Verdicts and settlements. His results have appeared in numerous newspapers and professional publications such as the Jury Verdict Reporter and Verdict Search. In 2010, several of his cases appeared in Verdict Search’s “Top NY Verdicts.”

Mr. Slobin is a member of the the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers’ Association. He has been licensed to practice in the state courts in New York and New Jersey since 1997, and is also admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the New Jersey Federal District Court.

Mr. Slobin is currently Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees of Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, as well as its former treasurer. He is fluent in Russian, and has provided legal services to the Russian community throughout his career
